Dr. Miranda Hengy grew up in a small town in northern Michigan where she was involved in horses most of her life, showing in 4-H and at Morgan Horse shows. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in biology at Central Michigan University in 2017 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Ohio State University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Miranda completed a year-long internship at Brown Equine Hospital where she gained experience in internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and lameness. Dr. Miranda's professional interests encompass most of equine practice, with her favorite areas being internal medicine, emergency care, and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, Dr. Miranda enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her feathered or furry companions. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time engaged in activities such as beekeeping, gardening, hiking, and kayaking.
