Dr. Raechelle Dietsch grew up in western Pennsylvania. She discovered her love of horses at a young age, riding and competing through 4-H and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). She graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Science, then attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2021. While in veterinary school, Dr. Raechelle served as President of the student chapter of American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). After graduating, she completed an internship at Blue Ridge Equine Clinic, an ambulatory and referral hospital located in Virginia, before joining Allegheny Equine as an associate veterinarian in 2022. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, wound management, and preventative care. She also has a soft spot for chestnut mares and geriatric horses. In her free time, Dr. Raechelle enjoys, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her two horses Que and Misfit, her dog Kai, and her cat Pia.
